In a new update, ‘Renaissance’ how now reached #1 on Apple Music in more than 70 countries worldwide.
This includes the United States, where she earns her 5th #1 album on the platform. Her previous chart toppers include ‘Lemonade,’ ‘Everything Is Love,’ ‘Homecoming,’ and ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’
The news comes as the album’s lead single, ‘Break My Soul’ continues to soar across all radio formats.
‘Renaissance’ features appearances and contributions from the likes of Drake, JAY-Z, The-Dream, Tems, Solange, Raphael Saadiq, Grace Jones, Hit-Boy, among others.
What’s more, the project is her first solo album since the release of ‘Lemonade’ in 2016.

Summer Renaissance as the next single maybe? Not my favorite but it could be a logical choice after Break My Soul musically speaking. I rule for Energy but it’s a personal choice based on my tastes.
Her remaining singles off this album need to be Heated, Church Girl and Summer Renaissance then on to act 2. Thats for most success. Although id love to her release Plastic off the Sofa as the vocals on that are sublime 👌🏾

ALL FACTS LOL We out here in our 30s beeeen listening to this women. This album is culture appropriation at its finest. The vocals are boring and monotone. And i looove her like everyone else. But she doesnt look happy on any of the photos and sung like she was on Exstacy pills the entire time no shade.

I think she was better BEFORE the success. Just like a lot of artists. That success can amount to pressure of “my next hit as to be as big as my last one!” which can stifle creativity as the goal is no longer what it once was.

My Pisces intuition feels like she was singing high of Exstacy pills or something. I can feel how people come up with words and where they might be in their lives. There isnt one uplifting renaissance message in the album. Its culture appropriation and desperate attempt to stay on top because house beats and afro beats are now blended. lol OH the gimmicks and lack of genuine love for the sounds these artist put out.
